ABUSE RECOVERY

Too often our society turns inward and ignores the plight of families. Domestic abuse leads to poverty, gang membership and homelessness. It also creates a glut in our court and social service systems. This cannot continue. The next chapter in theser stories can be freedom! God’s plan is to move families out of the bondage of domestic abuse into the freedom available to entire generations.

 Our Speaker: Pastor Rich Schaus

Pastor Rich has been working with women in crisis since March of 2002, as Resource Director at Anna Ogden Hall and Director of Union Gospel Mission Crisis Shelter for women and children. His goal is to educate potential victims as well as perpetrators.

Pastor Rich Schaus has a BA in Missions and Bible, as well as a degree in Rescue Missions. He has spoken at the Domestic Violence Summit, UGMM Ladies Auxiliary and various churches about domestic abuse—what he calls modern day slavery.
